EXPERIENCE
Brookhaven National Lab: Technology Engineer Student Assistant (2020 - 2021)
· Promoted from Artificial Intelligence SULI intern in January 2021
· Designed and prototyped interface to track sample measurement decision making in a machine learning system, allowing researchers to control hyperparameters in a GUI
· Performed 17 user tests in 3 iterations of databroker web client, and used React for initial viable product
· Developed Linux commands for databroker and bluesky software to navigate mongo database streams
Computer Science Department, University at Buffalo: Teaching Assistant (2020 - 2021)
· CSE220: SystemsProgramming: directed multiple laboratory sections and office hours on course content, such as memory allocation and threading and tools, such as GDB andMakefiles
· CSE370: Applied HumanComputer Interaction and Design: created tutorials on Figma, React,Accessibility tools, and CSS as well as lead office hours for debugging and designing sessions
Neural Cloud Solutions: UX/UISoftware Engineer Intern (2019 - 2020)
· Prototyped live concert and entertainment sites in web and mobile using Figma, and executed initial frontend implementation in React and React Native to align with current API on legacy applications
· Optimized website data structures and design by adding a PHP module to access SQL databases
Psycholinguistics Department, University at Buffalo: Research Assistant (2017 - 2019)
PsycholinguisticsDepartment, University at Buffalo
· Worked with doctoral students to synthesize their findings by programming eye tracker device software for retina mapping, analyzing data, and preparing experiments withePrime and Praat software
· Enacted video series using ambiguous nouns and verbs in garden path sentences for preliterate children’s cognitive development with child directed speech to investigate the Einstellung effect in non-grammatical settings
PROJECTS
